Accessibility Statement

Diversi Valley publishes work for neurodivergent people, and for the professionals who support them. It would be inconsistent to publish that work in a form that excludes the people it is written about. This statement sets out what we do, and where we know we fall short.

What we aim for

• Our written resources are supplied as PDF files that can be read by screen readers, with a logical reading order and structured headings

• We use clear language and avoid unnecessary jargon

• We do not use flashing content, automatic audio, or countdown timers

• We aim for sufficient colour contrast, and we do not rely on colour alone to convey meaning

 

Known limitations

Our website is built on Wix. Some elements of the platform are outside our direct control, and we cannot guarantee that every part of it meets WCAG 2.2 AA. We are not a public sector body, and so we are not subject to the public sector accessibility regulations, but we consider the standard a reasonable one to work towards.

Some older resources may not be fully tagged for screen reader use. We are working through these.

If something is not accessible to you

Contact us at office@keytoachieving.co.uk and tell us what you need. We will supply the resource in an alternative format at no additional cost. This includes a plain text version, a larger print version, or a version reformatted to your requirements. We will respond within 10 working days.

We make reasonable adjustments as a matter of course, in line with our duties under the Equality Act 2010. You do not need to explain why you need one, and you do not need to provide evidence of a diagnosis.
